Kidderminster have been the given the seal of approval as a force in the Blue Square Premier - by Wrexham boss Dean Saunders.
Harriers beat the in-form Dragons 1-0 on Saturday through Brian Smikle's seventh goal of the season, ending Saunders' club-best-ever start of five straight wins since taking charge.
Mark Yates' men now go to Oxford firmly entreched in the promotion race, sitting fourth, with Saunders now added to the list of scalps.
The Wrexham boss said: "They got at us at times and it was an even affair. It just never went for us.
"Their goalkeeper made at least five brilliant saves, so it was just one of those afternoons.
"To be fair, well done to them. They caused us problems."
Yates confirmed Saunders' sentiments, but is more concerned with points than plaudits.
He said: "I spoke to Dean after the game and he was disappointed to have lost, but at the same time he recognised that we are a good side. We afforded them the respect they deserve and they did the same.
"At the end of the day, we won the game. Three points were what we wanted and that is what we have come out with. Now we turn to Oxford tomorrow, which is another massive test for us."
