Dean Saunders' side visit with the new manager making the most successful start to a managerial stint in the club's 136-year history, a five match winning league start to his reign.

Harriers themselves have won four on the spin, with nine goals scored and three clean sheets, leading to renewed optimism in a promotion challenge.

All makes for an interesting Blue Square Premier between the fifth-placed home side and eighth-placed visitors.

Yates said: "It will be a good test for both teams. They are a good side, so it will be as much of a test for them as it will be for us. We are looking forward to the game and we need to carry on doing what we have been.

"We are at home in front of what should be a good crowd, so we need to take the game to them. With the sort of form that we are in, we will be confident.

"It is another big game for us, to keep up the good work that we have been doing."

Yates has a number of injury concerns, with as many as four players four players carrying knocks.

Of those four, midfielder Russell Penn is the biggest doubt with a dead leg, against a Wrexham side who are likely to hand a debut to former Coventry and Sheffield United striker Patrick Suffo.

The Harriers boss said: "This has been the last midweek where we haven't had a game, so we have had a quiet couple of days for some of the players to shake off knocks. Russell Penn, Matthew Barnes-Homer, Brian Smikle and Andy Ferrell are all carrying niggles.

"Russell is the biggest doubt, although I even expect him to play. But the guys who have not been playing had a practice game at Leicester on Tuesday, so anybody potentially coming in should be match fit."
