Kidderminster goalkeeper Adam Bartlett won his first cap for England C yesterday afternoon - while back at Aggborough striker Stefan Moore prepared to extend his stay at the club.
Bartlett started with fellow Harrier Russell Penn as England twice came from behind to hold Italy to a 2-2 draw in Benevento, securing their place in the final of the International Challenge Trophy in Belgium.
At club level, Moore has agreed a new one-month deal to stay for a second month at the club, which should be signed this afternoon.
The player had been unattached since his release from Walsall in the summer.
Harriers boss Mark Yates said: "It is pleasing that the England C camp are recognising that we have some good players at the club, now i just want them to get back to England in one piece!
"As for Stefan, his impact and attitude since he came here has been spot on. I am delighted that we are able to keep him at Aggborough for a second month."
