Flying Scotsman Garry O'Connor and Kevin Phillips kept Blues top of the Championship with three first half goals in a comfortable 3-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday.

O'Connor made it two goals in as many games with a well placed header after 11 minutes and added another just two minutes later - but only after Esajas had pulled Wednesday level with a fantastic free kick.

Phillips wrapped up the points seven minutes before half time with a well taken finish of his own.
