Stafford manager Steve Bull welcomes new signing Jake Moult to the fold for the trip to Stalybridge in the Blue Square North tomorrow (3pm) - with Darlington striker Jack Bradley set to follow.
Moult signed last night from Leek Town, after catching Bully's eye against Rangers in the Staffordshire Senior Cup two weeks ago. The 19-year-old had only been with the Blues since August, after his release from Plymouth in the summer.
The midfielder spent the latter part of last season on loan at Kidderminster and began his career at Port Vale. A promising young player, big things will be expected of him at Marston Road.
The Stafford boss has also tapped into his Football League contacts to bring in youngster Bradley on a month's loan from the Quakers, in the hope of adding cover to his problematic striking area, and is hoping to complete the deal in time to add him to the squad in time to play at the Bower Fold.
The earlier signing of Stoke attacker Marc Grocott on a month's loan means that a trio of new faces could be included tomorrow - and Bully has not ruled out giving them all full debuts either.
He said: "Both Marc and Jake trained with us last night and looked very sharp, so they are very much in contention. I think a few new faces in the side picks people up, so it is good for us that we have these promising new players available. They will be someway involved.
"I am just waiting on the final word from Jake Bradley. I am hopeful he will travel down and sign later today. We have him for a month initially, with a view to a longer term deal if he impresses."
With the new boys in place, the focus shifts to an important clash against Steve Burr's side, who currently occupy what Rangers covet, the last play-off spot.
Rangers have slumped to seventh, after successive draws in games that really should have been won against Hyde United and Hucknall. They would be reclaim a play-off spot with a win, with fourth-placed AFC Telford in FA Cup action.
As Bully heads to Greater Manchester for the second Saturday in succession, he has spelled out to his team what is required - a win at all costs.
He said: "It is only around the corner from Hyde, so the trip doesn't matter. We need to show the same attitude and the away form that we have to get a result. On the road, we have been very good, so I am hopeful.
"I have had Stalybridge watched a few times and they are a very good side, so we are up against it. It might end up being another 1-0, so if we get that result I will be happy.
"We need to drag them down a bit and put ourselves back in there. We need a result and we need to win at any cost."
