Halesowen 1 Maidstone 4
Halesowen's FA Cup dreams were shattered after conceding an unbelievable three goals in four minutes at the end of the first half in front of a large crowd.
Four more players made their home debut in an even opening, with Darren Caskey clearing off the Halesowen line within the first minute before Lee Canoville missed a glorious chance to open his home account by volleying wide of an empty net.
The Yeltz even took a 27th minute lead, when Jay Denny headed home Canoville's cross to wrong-foot goalkeeper Andy Walker. The Stones responded with unmarked Martin blazing high in front of goal.
An amazing four minute spell then completely turned the game on its head as Maidstone made the home defence pay. Tom Kemp failed to clear, allowing Meshach Nugent to turn and fire home the 43rd minute equaliser.
Just two minutes later Ian Cox headed back a corner and Jay Saunders was first to react to bundle home. The Stones made it 3-1 in first-half injury time when Lloyd Blackman curled home from just outside the area.
The home defence was pulled apart again early in the second-half but Nugent ballooned over.
Halesowen piled forward to try to repair the damage but the visitors held firm as lively substitute Mark Danks twice went close. Maidstone rubbed salt into the wound when Ian Selley crashed home a 76th minute penalty to make it 4-1 after Kemp handled with his upper arm.
