Halesowen have booked their place in the FA Cup third qualifying round with this excellent win over Blue Square North opponents.

Dean Smith was on hand to give Yeltz an 18th-minute lead. Cornwall put the Yeltz in the driving seat by rounding Adam Sollitt to slot home after 34 minutes.

A double substitution at the interval failed to inspire Trinity and the Yeltz defence, led by Michael Briscoe, held firm as Chris Hall blazed over the bar from 12 yards and substitute Ian Ross struck a 64th-minute free-kick just high.

There was still time for Halesowen to make it 3-0 in the 88th minute when substitute Zema Abbey's shot on the turn squeezed beneath Sollitt.

Halesowen will host Maidstone United in an FA Cup third round qualifier, to be played on October 11.

If Stourbridge overcome Brackley tomorrow in their replay they will travel to Boreham Wood and if Chasetown beat Rothwell, after they drew 1-1 on Saturday, they will play at either Evesham or Nuneaton Town.
