The Scholars boss welcomes Rothwell Town in the second qualifying round on Saturday and is hoping for a bumper crowd at Church Street.

He said: "It was a big distraction last season but it happens to everyone at our level but we have got a lot to thank the FA Cup for.

"We'll probably get around 500 on Saturday and two or three years ago we would have got 50.

"Hopefully we can get as many possible there and they can really get behind the players."
