Harriers moved into third place in the Blue Square Premier thanks to goals from Brian Smikle and Justin Richards.
Midfielder Smikle broke the deadlock on 63 minutes before Richards pounced deep into stoppage time to notch his seventh goal of the season.
It was in-form Kidderminster's fifth win on the trot at Aggborough following their disappointing opening day draw with struggling Lewes. Although boss Mark Yates was delighted with Harriers' well earned victory he is convinced his side can improve on their hard-working performance.
He said: "We got two good goals and we could have got a couple more but we're making it a little bit hard for ourselves at the moment. It's a good result and it was vital we got three points, but we have to be better because eventually performances are going to get us where we want to be."
