We need a result - Williams

Assistant boss Lee Williams admits Rushall are in need of a result to get their season back on track.

The Pics entertain Belper tonight in the second round of the Unibond League Presidents Cup. Williams expects a tough test against a side he rates as the best they have faced after a 1-1 draw earlier in the season.

He said: "They are a big strong team. We haven't won in four or five games and there's a bit of pressure there. They are one of the best teams we have seen and took a 3-0 battering on Saturday, so they will be up for it."

Williams admits that improvement is needed defensively, after Olympic conceded twice in the last 11 minutes to lose a 3-1 lead at Brigg Town on Saturday.

He said: "It was a bitter pill to swallow when we ended up drawing. We have conceded a number of poor goals this season which wasn't evident last year.

"All of a sudden what was our strength is now a little bit of a weakness. We didn't take our chances and we didn't defend properly at the other end."

Craig Marshall and Dave Haywood are still out for Rushall with knee and ankle injuries respectively.
