No advantage for Yeltz - Brookes

There will be no psychological advantage for Halesowen when they visit Chippenham Town, according to general manager Colin Brookes.

The Yeltz travel to the Bluebirds, who they beat in last season's Southern League Premier Division play-off semi-final.

But Brookes doesn't feel Morell Maison's side have any edge over their hosts.

He said: "I don't think there's any advantage. It's a different season with different players.

"Chippenham haven't started the season as well as they would have liked. They did beat Cambridge, who are one of the favourites for promotion, but they've also lost a couple of games. They're always a tough game, though – we can go back a few years with the good battles we have had."

Winger Aaron Cornwall is set to face his former side after swapping Hardenhuish Park for The Grove in the summer. He will be hoping to emulate the scoring exploits of his team-mates, who beat Meir KA 8-1 in their FA Cup First qualifying round reply on Tuesday.

Brookes added: "He's looking forward to it. He's playing well but hasn't scored yet and I asked him on Tuesday if he was saving them up for Saturday. He said, 'I hope so'."
