Wolves will attempt to put their home defeat to Ipswich on Monday behind them as they visit the Lakeside Hammers.
The side lost 52-40 as the Witches secured an Elite League play-off place amid some great racing in front of the Sky cameras, with the home debuts of Morten Risager and Ludvig Lindgren the highlight.
Lindgren in particular impressed by pushing his machine around for a full lap for a point in heat 11 after his chain had broken, but is expected to find the going tough tonight on his Lakeside track debut.
The home of the Hammers has not been a happy hunting ground for the Wolves this season, with the side going down 53-40 courtesy of poor gating to an under-strength home side last month.
Wolves have also suffered three postponements due to bad weather at the Essex venue this year, with one match being postponed just as many Wolves supporters were arriving.
Despite losing key team members Jonas Davidsson, Joonas Kylmakorpi and Adam Shields to injury in recent weeks, the Hammers still have high hopes of success in the play-offs.
They have signed ex-Belle Vue man Tomasz Jedrzejak to cover Davidsson's absence, while Ipswich's Rory Schlein, who was instrumental in the Witches' win at Monmore on Monday, will guest for Kylmakorpi.
Wolves will hope that Jesper B Monberg and Nicolai Klindt are back to form after the Danes scored just three points between them on Monday, while skipper Fredrik Lindgren has previously voiced his dislike of the Lakeside track, despite scoring paid 10 there last month.
Niels Kristian Iversen's return from his shoulder injury on Monday provided some encouragement, with the Dane showing little effect of the injury despite riding with his shoulder strapped up. He will aim to repeat his form tonight, while David Howe showed signs of improvement on Monday.
Lakeside: Andreas Jonsson, Leigh Lanham, Adam Shields (rider replacement), Tomasz Jedrzejak, Rory Schlein, Ricky Kling, Kauko Nieminen.
Wolves: Fredrik Lindgren, Morten Risager, Niels Kristian Iversen, David Howe, Jesper B Monberg, Ludvig Lindgren, Nicolai Klindt.
