Kidderminster manager Mark Yates knows his side need a win as they welcome Altrincham to Aggborough in the Blue Square Premier tomorrow (3pm).
The Harriers have one point to show from three games of their campaign so far, an opening day draw at Lewes preceding back-to-back away defeats at Cambridge and Mansfield.
Now back in front of their own fans, Yates is targeting a morale boosting win, against a side they are widely expected to beat, who were only repreived themselves from relegation last term due to Halifax's dismissal from the league.
That said, Alty have four points so far, so Yates for one will not be taking them lightly.
He said: "I have drumming it into the players that our season started on Monday and, to be fair to them, they have responded well. It has been a disappointing start and we need a win now.
"We will not be taking Altrincham lightly. They have started well and have more points than us as we speak! But we can beat them. If my side play to their potential, we can beat anybody in this league.
"To win, we need to put in the sort of performance that warrants a result. We need a win, to boost the players more than anything. They have probably deserved more than they have got."
No doubt the Harriers will just be pleased to play in front of their own fans - after back-to-back away games at two of the much-fancied forces in the league.
Yates added: "It has been tough with two away games, but that is no excuse for some of our play."
