Kidderminster manager Mark Yates has promised better is to come to from his side as they search for their first win of the season at Mansfield tomorrow (3pm).
Harriers have so far played out a 1-1 draw with promoted Lewes at Aggborough on the opening day and a narrow 2-1 defeat at Cambridge United in midweek.
Although displays have been competitive in both, results have not gone the way of Mark Yates' men. It will not get any easier at Field Mill, against a side just relegated from the Football League.
The Stags already have four points to show from their opening two games under new manager Billy McEwan, with ex-Harrier Michael Blackwood among their ranks after his summer move.
Yates will be out to make sure they do not add to their tally against his side.
He said: "They will be a strong outfit, maybe one of the strongest. But, and I know it is a cliche, there are no easy games in the Blue Square Premier anymore.
"We have done reasonably well in the first two games but we can do better, We will improve, I am sure of it. There is a lot to come from us this season.
"No one is panicking and one win will snowball into better form. A win at Mansfield would be just the sort of tonic we are looking for."
