An 107th minute goal from sub Mark Davies nudged Wolves past Accrington Stanley in a 3-2 extra-time win at Molineux in the Carling Cup first round.

Paul Mullin's 40th minute header had given the League Two outfit a half-time lead, before Chris Iwelumo's first goal for Wolves restored parity.

He followed on from his 73rd minute header with an extra-time goal to put Wolves in the lead for the first time, only for Ian Craney to restore parity in the 104th minute - just two minutes later.

Davies, on for Michael Gray just eight minutes earlier, gave Wolves the lead again before Accrington's Robbie Williams was dismissed for a second bookable offence at the death.

Wolves: Hennessey, Foley, Stearman, Collins, Elokobi, Gray (Davies), Henry, Edwards, Jones (Keogh), Iwelumo, Vokes (Ebanks-Blake).
