Monberg, formerly known as Jensen, was unveiled as a new signing for the club on Friday, replacing Christian Hefenbrock for the remainder of 2008 after several injury problems for the German.

The Dane was a member of Wolves' Elite League-winning side in 2002 and is expected to be a valuable asset on his return.

He said: "It's going to be a special moment for me to be back with Wolverhampton. I hope I can do myself and the team justice."

Monberg joins fellow countrymen Kenneth Hansen, Nicolai Klindt and Niels Kristian Iversen in the side, with the latter hoping for an improvement on the form shown in Poland yesterday.

Iversen scored just three points for Zielona Gora as they won 49-41 in their Extraleague match at Gorzow, while Monberg scored just two from two rides for the opposition.

Wolves captain Fredrik Lindgren fared better, scoring paid 11 for the visitors.

David Howe made his first Polish League appearance for some time for Grudziadz, scoring six points as they beat Rawicz 51-42.

Nicolai Klindt was also in action over the weekend, scoring paid 11 on a guest appearance for Premier League side Stoke as they beat Sheffield 58-34 on Saturday.

Swindon need the points to keep them in the hunt for the play-offs, while Wolves need them in order to move off the bottom. Tapes go up at Monmore Green at 7.30pm.

Wolves: Fredrik Lindgren, Ales Dryml, Niels Kristian Iversen, Jesper B Monberg, David Howe, Nicolai Klindt, Kenneth Hansen. Swindon: Leigh Adams, Travis McGowan, Mads Korneliussen, James Wright, Troy Batchelor, Manuel Hauzinger, Jurica Pavlic.
