Wednesbury got their Staffs Clubs promotion push back on track with a comfortable success over Old Wulfs Tettenhall.
After a run of below-par displays, Craig Cartwright's men found their form to cruise home by six wickets, much to the relief of their skipper.
He said: "We needed that win after the way things had gone over last few weeks. It was about getting back to basics and we did that."
Sajid Nazir bagged three wickets as Old Wulfs were restricted to 205-8. Hitesh Makan then made the most of his promotion up the order with 45.
Australian Tim Evans stroked his second successive unbeaten half century to secure victory and set up Wednesbury for a push for glory over the second half of the season.
Cartwright added: "We reached the halfway point of the season and hopefully we can find some consistency and push on."
Cartwright has batsman Pindi Matharu back for Saturday's trip to Beacon.
