Wolverhampton took full advantage of a rain-affected programme to go back to the top of the premier division.

With nearest rivals Barnt Green's clash falling victim to the weather, the Danescourt men cashed in with a three-wicket victory over Knowle & Dorridge.

Another outstanding bowling performance paved the way for victory in a clash reduced to 27 overs per side.

Paceman Imran Jamshed and Indian overseas star Sairaj Bahutule were the pick of the home attack.

Jamshed bagged 5-31 and Bahutule 3-7, as Knowle & Dorridge were out for 73.

Wolverhampton were then indebted to Bahutule (22) as they were forced to dig deep for victory.

He was the only home player to reach double figures as the Danescourt side, boosted by 22 extras, edged home.

New Zealander Brad Wilson struck an unbeaten 68, as Walsall posted 146-6 against Kenilworth Wardens.

Walsall then reduced the visitors to 59-6 but their bid was dashed when rain forced the game to be abandoned.

In Division One, Old Hill surrendered top spot as they crashed to their first defeat of the season away to Attock.

The Haden Hill outfit were bowled out for 91.

Division two leaders Penn bagged nine points from their abandoned clash with St Georges. Skipper Richard Bardford hit an unbeaten century as Penn scored 212-3.

St Georges were 116-4 when the rain intervened.

Wombourne extended their lead at the top of division three after a four-wicket success over Lichfield.
