Albion boss Tony Mowbray felt his team were worthy winners.

And with the Baggies hitting the woodwork three times, it wasn't surprising when Mowbray added: "It could have been more."

Albion travel to Norwich on

Saturday for what will be their sixth game in 18 days but they will do so with confidence flying.

The Hawthorns boss said: "On the balance of chances created and the possession of the ball, I don't think anyone can have any

complaints about the result. We were excellent from the first minute and it was a bit of a mystery how it was still goalless at half-time.

"Maybe tonight, in front of their own supporters, they weren't as fluent.

"At times, we can be more

creative and find more space away from home. Having five out of seven games away from home at the end of the season was never a fear for us.

"I think it's a benefit."

The away-day factor still has a part to play as Albion face trips to Carrow Road and QPR either side of their final home game against Southampton.

But Mowbray, of course, says playing away holds no fears for his men on the back of a seven-match unbeaten run on their travels.

He did warn: "Nobody is getting carried away. It could swing on its head again on Saturday. We've got to go to Norwich and try and find another performance.

"Norwich will be our sixth game in 18 days so it's a big, big ask for the players. Let's see how we go.

"We'd rather be in the position we are than not."

Mowbray went with an unchanged team for the first time in four months and revealed it was getting tougher and tougher to sort out a starting XI as the campaign reached its conclusion.

"We're at the stage where we definitely want to pick the team we feel is going to win the game," he added.

"Every game is a difficult

"It's very, very hard for him to sit on the bench.

"I've been trying to give Luke Moore opportunities to get up and running for our team.

"Chris Brunt always comes on the pitch and looks like he's going to create for us.

"It's very, very hard for those boys, but hopefully they have humility and respect for the players out on the pitch to understand we've all got a common goal.

"The team was picked based on my perceived weaknesses of Wolves. We tried to capitalise on that."
