Rushall boss warns players

Rushall Olympic manager Paul Holleran has told his players not to underestimate Malvern ahead of the vital play-off clash tomorrow.

After defeat to rivals Leamington last week, the Pics need points on the board to maintain their promotion push, but second from bottom Malvern defeated Sutton last week and will be no pushovers, despite their lowly league status.

"League tables count for nothing," Holleran said.

"Malvern turned over Sutton last week and their results of late have been decent.

"They've improved recently and seem to be picking up points, but from our point of view if we're serious about the play-offs, we've got to be looking for three points at Malvern and putting in a productive performance, which is what we'll be looking to do.

"The message to the players is not to underestimate them. That would be a big mistake."

Rushall will be without Junior Brown, who picked up a back injury at Leamington last week, but Ian Cooper is set for his first start since recovering from a knee injury, while Grant Beckett may return after his hamstring problem.
