Chasetown boss Charlie Blakemore has vowed to shake his tired team up to get their play-off bid back on track tomorrow.
Chasetown boss Charlie Blakemore has vowed to shake his tired team up to get their play-off bid back on track tomorrow.
The Scholars host Bishops Cleeve after they went down 2-1 at home to Leighton to dent their play-off hopes.
Blakemore believes some of his players have 'hit a wall' while he's looking for more goals from midfield.
"I can't fault them for effort, but it was a very jaded performance on Tuesday – we lacked sparkle," said the Chasetown chief.
"I think a few players have hit the wall. I have to freshen things up and that's what I'll do. What's also costing us is not taking our chances and that happened on Tuesday.
"Dean Perrow has scored 29 goals this season but we have to start scoring goals from other areas."
Craig Holland, who is running the London Marathon on Sunday, won't be risked but Phil Harris (Achilles), Nick Hawkins (knee), Marlon Walters (flu) and Dave Woodvine could return to contention.
Perrow will play despite a persistent groin injury, but young striker Danny Dubidat, who has rejoined the club from Willenhall and played Tuesday, will be on the bench.
