16.51: GOAl Albion level in the dying minutes. Substitute Morrison fires home a terrific shot from outside the area.

16.50: The only bright spot for Baggies fans is other results. Stoke, Bristol City drawing and Watford losing. It's Hull that are the only team on a run.

16.48: It's all Baggies in the closing stages as they trhrow everything at Colchester. It has been a remarkable game.

16.43: 12 minutes remaining at the Hawthorns for Albion to get something on a potentially decisive weekend.

16.37: GOAL Shock horror, Colchester lead and it's Kevin Lisbie. Kiely can only parry a long range shot and the striker follows in to score.

16.35: More Baggies pressure, Gera going close as Robinson battles on with a head bandage.

16.34: Tony Mowbray goes for the jugular by bringing on striker Miller for Hoefkens.

16.30: Phillips is convinced he should have had a penalty when he fell under Coyne's challenge but the referee says no.

16.28: The tension has clearly got to Colchester boss Geraint Williams, he is ordered into the stands for comments to the fourth official.

16.12: Clement almost has an instant impact shooting wide from 12 yards following Greening's corner.

16.11: Albion need the points with Bristol City, Stoke and Hull all winning.

16.08: Change at the start of the second half as Cesar is replaced by Clement.

15.50: Half time at the Hawthorns and there has certainly been entertainment if nothing else. Phillips tests Gerken with the last action of the half.

15.48: Two minutes of injury time at the end of the first half.

15.46: Superb turnaround for Albion and another Hawthorns rollercoaster. It's never dull.

15.40: GOAL Two minutes later and Albion are level, Brunt the scorer.

Cracking goal, he beats two defenders, cutting inside and unleashes a 25 yarder past Dean Gerken.

15.37: GOAL Phillips pulls one back for Albion just before half time. Crucial and it's that man Phillips again - his 22nd of the season.

15.34: Albion continue to enjoy all the possession but frustration is the order of the day for most in the ground.

15.32: Dowunder Baggies wants Kiely replaced by the Aussie Kylie. The Baggies don't even have a keeper on the bench today.

15.28: Albion go close to pulling one back, Phillips' shot from distance brushing the post.

15.27: Madeley says the home fans are blaming keeper Kiely for the second.

He says: "The second goal saw loud boos ringing out from behind Kiely's goal in the Birmingham Road End."

The veteran keeper was also jeered as he next touched the ball. It appears to be turning a bit ugly at the Hawthorns.

15.26: DownunderBaggie: "Typical start to a must win game. Come on Baggies."

15.23: In other action Stoke lead at Sheff Wed and Hull are 2-0 up at Watford.

15.17: GOAL It gets worse for Albion, now it's two, Elito the scorer, the visitors have had two attacks and scored two.

This one is a cracker, Kiely's poor punch falls to Elito and he rifles in a superb shot from 25 yards.

15.15: GOAL Colchester take the lead, it comes on the break with the visitors first real attack. Chris Coyne the scorer, spectacular overhead kick as the ball came into the box.

15.04: Hull take an early lead against Watford in the Championship.

15.01: Brunt marks his return to the side with a 20-yard drive over the bar in the first minute.

15.00: We are underway at a wet and windy Hawthorns.

14.47: If Wembley is still on your mind have a look at Baggies in ticket rush

14.30: A poster called 2007/8 champions is certainly in optimistic mood today (see the comments section below).

Have your say on the Baggies all afternoon. We will post the most interesting on the text commentary.

14.24: Two changes for Albion as Brunt and Bednar return in place of Miller and Pele.

Albion: Kiely, Hoefkens, Albrechtsen, Cesar, Robinson, Gera, Koren, Brunt, Greening, Phillips, Bednar

Subs: Miller, Morrison, Clement, Kim, Pele.

14.18: Tony Mowbray has more options for his team today with Chris Brunt and James Morrison back in midfield, plus Neil Clement available in defence.

14.04: Colchester boss Geraint Williams apparently said today's game is not "do or die" for the U's, which either means he is a hopeless optimist or they are already dead.

For the record Colchester are 11 points adrift with six games to go. That is down in my book.

14.00: Forget Wembley and all that, it's a must-win for Albion.

At home to bottom of the table Colchester should be three points but the Baggies home form has been a little suspect of late.
