Striker Junior Brown led his side to victory with a brace, with only a rebound off the home keeper for the second goal denying him a hat-trick.

The visitors enjoyed the perfect start, after 11 minutes, as Lee Barrow looped the ball into the far post and Brown rose to nod home from 10 yards out.

It was little surprise when Rushall doubled their advantage on 34 minutes when a pin-point centre from the right picked out Brown who planted a firm header on to the crossbar that rebounded directly off the back of 'keeper Thornton and over the line.

Within 14 minutes of the restart, Rushall claimed their third when Neil Grainger's run set up Brown and he wrong footed his marker before finishing superbly.

Manager Paul Holleran then withdrew both Neil Grainger and Junior Brown with the Easter programme in mind.
