Top v bottom for Halesowen

Table-topping Halesowen have been warned that Cheshunt will be all-guns-blazing for tomorrow's top-versus-bottom clash in the British Gas Business League premier division.

The Yeltz travel to the bottom side having gone a point clear at the top of the table in midweek.

But general manager Colin Brookes has warned they can take nothing for granted.

Brookes said: "At this time of the season even the club at the bottom can cause you problems.

They will be fighting hard to get off the bottom and we will have to play as we have in our last few games."

Manager Morell Maison will again be without striker Zema Abbey through injury and defender Scott Lycett because of illness.

Meanwhile, Rushall manager Paul Holleran is looking to leapfrog rivals Chesham into the last play-off berth tomorrow.

The Pics will go fifth with a victory, providing Stourbridge fail to defeat Woodford, but Holleran knows it will not be an easy task against a side that beat them at Dales Lane just two weeks ago.

"We've got a really tough away game against Chesham, who are actually in that last play off spot," Holleran said.

"But with a good result, we could go above them on goal difference.

"They are a good side – probably the best side that have visited Rushall this season, when they beat us 1-0 a few weeks ago.

"It's important that we don't get beaten this weekend.

"It will be a tough game, but hopefully we'll be good enough to see it through and get something out of the afternoon."

Holleran is hoping to welcome back Phil Rowe, Craig Marshall and Karl Johnson, all of whom missed Tuesday's 6-0 drubbing of Woodford.
