Chasetown boss Charlie Blakemore has ordered his side to become more ruthless as they host play-off rivals Chesham tomorrow.
The Scholars have ended a run of four defeats with successive clean sheets, but after beating Woodford, shared a goalless draw at Barton in midweek.
Both sides are on the same points with Chesham in seventh. one place ahead on goal difference but Chasetown have two games in hand.
Blakemore said: "We've had two good, solid performances but I'm asking the lads to be more ruthless considering the firepower we've got.
"We have to create more – that's what we worked on in training last night and that's what we need to take into tomorrow.
"It's about the creative players creating chances and the strikers taking them."
Blakemore warned the players must do their bit else they could be axed, adding: "If people aren't doing the business they're going to be rested so every game the lads have to show how hungry they are."
Despite the wafer-thin difference between the sides, Blakemore insists nothing will be decided tomorrow.
"We've still got 15 games to play and 45 points to play for," he said.
"Every point is going to be important now because the league's even tighter than last year – 10 sides could get into the play-off places."
