Yeltz went ahead with their first meaningful attack on 20 minutes when Dean Brennan's quickly taken free-kick allowed substitute Eldon Maquemba to cross for Ikechi Anya to flick home his first Halesowen goal.

Stuart Pierpoint went close with a header before Bashley levelled when Chris Ferrett whipped in a 36th minute free-kick for Danny Smith to head home.

But Halesowen upped their game to blow away their opponents in front of the largest attendance of the season.

Darren Caskey lofted the ball forward for Brennan to nip in and lob over advancing goalkeeper David Elm in the 48th minute and leading scorer Brennan made it 3-1 in the 54th minute when he confidently side-stepped two defenders and stroked home with Elm rooted to the spot.

Nick Amos appeared to have legitimately added another goal but his effort was disallowed before the visitors spurned several chances with Gillespie ballooning over the bar and Mark Osborn making an excellent save to deny Craig Davis.

But the rattled visitors could not cope with Halesowen's skill and pace with substitute Davion Hamilton drilling into the six-yard box for midfielder Jay Denny to make it 4-1 in the 79th minute.
