Woodford 1 Stourbridge 0

The Glassboys promotion hopes suffered another dent as they fell to defeat at struggling Woodford.

Stourbridge won at Buxton for the second time in a week to add an FA Trophy win to their FA Cup victory.

The hosts settled quickest and grabbed the lead after just six minutes with Paul Lamb beating Lewis Solly from close range following a right-wing corner from Craig Pearman.

Stourbridge had a goal disallowed when, from a left-wing Damian Whitcombe cross, recent signing Lee Bullimore went up with the keeper and saw his header drop into the net.

But the referee harshly ruled that Finlay had been fouled.

As the visitors continued to press after the break, Finlay safely clung onto a low drive from Kyle Hadley.
