Rangers travel to Halifax Town tomorrow in search of much-needed league points and a first league win since mid-September.

They also hope to end a run of five consecutive league defeats.

Even though the West Yorkshire side languish in 18th position in the Blue Square Premier table, they have lost just one home league game all season.

The game will provide Stafford with an opportunity to test their new-found confidence against a side not looking to finish in a high league position.

Apart from Grayson and Street's first game in charge against Northwich at the beginning of December, every league game they have played since has been against opposition hoping to finish in the top five come the end of the season.

Both Grayson himself and Chris Flynn are available for selection following suspension as could defender Djoumin Sangare and striker Nathan Smith providing they have recovered sufficiently from their respective ankle problems. Midfielder Seb Arnolin comes in to contention as well having been cup-tied for last Saturday's Trophy win.

Grayson said: "I may have to actually drop somebody this week which will be a change.

"We've got players coming back from injury so should have a reasonable squad. Djimi (Sangage) is progressing but I don't know how he will be and Nathan Smith thinks he may be available."
