Goals predicted for Stourbridge

Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett is predicting goalscoring fireworks tonight when his side take on fellow high scorers Sutton Coldfield at the War Memorial Ground tonight.

Stourbridge won at Buxton for the second time in a week to add an FA Trophy win to their FA Cup victory.

The two teams have scored and conceded more than 130 goals between them this season – and Hackett is braced for more of the same tonight.

The Stourbridge boss is set to stick with the side that maintained the Glassboys' fine form with a 3-1 win over Leighton on Saturday.

He said: "I will be very surprised if there aren't more goals. If you analyse the two teams so far this season we have both been scoring plenty so it should be a good game," he said.

"They were probably the toughest side we've faced so far this season so we know it will be a tough game.

"We weren't at our best against Leighton but you can't always play superb football. We'll take the win because it keeps our good little run going too."
