The visitors almost took the lead in only the third minute when Olympic's defence were caught cold.

Dave Wilkinson was allowed to run at goal and his 25- yard drive was blocked out at full stretch by keeper Tony Breeden.

In the 21st minute a ball over the top of the defence picked out Damien Charie, but his volley from just inside the box was well held by keeper Paul Tassell.

On 36 minutes Town skipper Neil Griffiths' header was only partially repelled, before he picked up the loose ball and fired into the side netting.

Rushall were luck not to go a goal down when a speculative 40-yard effort rebounded off the foot of Breeden's right hand post.

But in the first minute of the second half Grant Beckett threaded the ball through to Richard Beale, whose centre picked out Harris and the front runner rifled home from 15 yards.

Five minutes later only an instinctive one-footed save by Tassell foiled Harris from 12 yards out, while Richard Beale's follow up snap-shot was smartly tipped over by the keeper.

Just before the hour Breeden had to be at his best to smother a 15 yard drive.

As Olympic pushed forward Neil Barnfield's low drive from only 8 yards out was well blocked by Tassell.

With 12 minutes left Rushall escaped when Ben Gasgoyne's 30-yard strike flew inches wide.

On 86 minutes Harris had the ball in the back of the net, but it was offside.
