Dagenham 3 Kidderminster 1
Harriers boss Mark Yates felt his side were robbed the chance of at least a replay by referee Roger East.
Midway through the second half, with the scores locked at 1-1, Daggers defender Jon Boardman appeared to handle the ball inside the area.
Unfortunately the official thought otherwise and awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box, a decision that infuriated Yates.
"We've got a disappointed dressing room as the penalty award wasn't given," he said.
"We all thought it was a good yard inside the box and couldn't believe it wasn't given.
"We still had chances and their keeper pulled off some excellent stops, but I've got an honest bunch of players, and they all felt it was a spot-kick."
The final scoreline did flatter the home team as it took late goals from Ben Strevens and Paul Benson to see off a spirited Harriers side.
They were more than worth another crack as they made all the early running and took the lead when Mark Creighton (14) thundered a header past Tony Roberts.
Daggers were level on 34 minutes in spectacular fashion when Benson turned and shot into the top corner from 20-yards.
The home side took the game to the visitors in the second half, forcing a flurry of corners, but apart from Jon Nurse's cross that was smothered on the line by Scott Bevan, they couldn't create anything clear cut.
Harriers kept battling with striker Justin Richards a constant menace and he forced an excellent block from the legs of the veteran Roberts, before another shot was also smartly saved.
They grew even stronger and substitute Iyesden Christie had a great chance after outmuscling Jon Boardman, but Roberts came to the rescue with a tremendous parry.
An end to end second half saw Daggers finally make the breakthrough when Jon Nurse got free down on the left flank and his penetrating cross was slammed home by Strevens (85).
Leading scorer Benson sealed the victory right on the whistle, breaking down the right as Harriers pushed forward, before rifling home from close range.
