Harriers take on last season's Conference champions with Yates believing no-one gives his side a chance – except those at Aggborough.

And that means they can play the latest phase of their cup adventure without any of the pressure that was a factor in their first-round victory over minnows Ware.

Yates said: "Nobody gives us a chance, but we are quietly confident that we can go down there and give them a real game.

"We went down there last season and came back with a result, and they were the best team in our league.

"So why can't we go there and get a result again?

"We are all aware that this is potentially a big game for the club and we all want to go down there and cause an upset, but no-one outside the club will give us a chance so that means we can go there relaxed and try to enjoy it.

"We expect to go there as a squad and at least give them a good game, and we believe we are capable on our day of winning."

And, after playing the Daggers twice in league action last season, Yates does not expect any surprises from one of the Football League's newest club as both sides hunt a potentially lucrative place in the third round.

He said: "They haven't changed two much.

"One or two have come in and one or two have gone out but overall they are pretty to last season, when they were a very good side.

"So we know what to expect."

Harriers will be forced to take on the Daggers without leading goalscorer James Constable, who begins a three-match ban for alleged use of the elbow.

The club are continuing to put Constable's case to the FA after losing an initial appeal last week, but their action now is purely to clear the striker's name and will not overturn his suspension.

Jeff Kenna will travel tomorrow after returning from a two-month injury lay-off with an hour for the reserves this week.
