Stourbridge won at Buxton for the second time in a week to add an FA Trophy win to their FA Cup victory.

They fell behind with twenty minutes to go, only to secure a place in the semi-finals of the Worcestershire Senior Cup with goals from Craig Slater and Leon Broadhurst.

After a generally tight first period, the game opened up.

On 70 minutes the deadlock was finally broken with a swift counter launched by keeper James Dormand, who threw the ball out to Maquemba on the right.

He, in turn, released Shane Paul away down the right and his measured low cross was steered home by Zema Abbey.

Just three minutes later, the Glassboys were level.

Wells delivered a free- kick that Nathan Bennett flicked on and with Dormand struggling, the Yeltz failed to clear.

A shot from Bennett was blocked, but with the danger not over, Slater drove into the net through a crowd of players.

Nine minutes from time the home side sealed it. Some neat build-up play saw Wells find Sam Rock, who played an angled pass to Broadhurst.

As he looked to take the ball in his stride, he was challenged by Paul, who turned the ball against the Glassboys midfielder and saw it roll past a wrong-footed Dormand and in.

Sub Reuben Wiggins-Thomas missed a headed chance to level in injury-time.
