Mulgrew stars in Wolves win
Scottish under-21 international Charlie Mulgrew was the star of the show as Wolves edged a five-goal Birmingham Senior Cup tie against Hednesford Town at Keys Park last night.

Mulgrew, Stephen Gleeson and Rob Edwards were the only players with senior experience in the Wolves side and they needed to be at their best as the non-League team opened strongly and took a ninth minute lead.
Ross Dyer was the man on target, hitting a superb volley into the net directly from Chris Adams' corner.
Mulgrew's glancing header following Alex Melbourne's well flighted cross levelled matters on 32 minutes before visiting keeper Billy Lumley was forced to save with his legs from Alan Nagington shortly before the break.
From the restart Wolves proved to be the more dominant force and Mulgrew's classy shot from 25-yards in the 53rd minute saw the visitors move into the lead for the first time on the night.
And when Sam Winnall headed a third two minutes later following a move involving Mulgrew and Melbourne, the contest looked to be over.
But, three minutes from time, Nagington scrambled home a second Hednesford goal and then only the crossbar prevented the game from going into extra-time after Jewade Graham's header came back off the woodwork.Hednesford Town: Gilmartin, Hall (Brown 68), Adams, Palmer, Simms, Wells, R.
