Walsall stars tipped for the top

Team-mate Rhys Weston, schooled at Arsenal and a Wales full international, claims the "sky is the limit" for the two youngsters whose goals gave the Saddlers their fourth away win of the season with Saturday's 2-0 victory at Northampton.

"Mark is a fantastic player. He's one of many young players at Walsall who are coming to the fore this season.

"If we can tap into Ishmel's talent more consistently, then the sky is the limit for him."

"Mark came back from under-21 duty and he has stepped up again.

"'Bradders' has popped up with some really important goals for us this season and long may that continue.

"Mark has got a great engine on him and he's a very fit lad.

"He's timing his runs really well and finishing them off without a problem.

"Defences don't seem to be able to live with them and if he keeps doing that then he can go a long way.

"He's a young lad still learning his trade but the world is his oyster.

"He's got so much talent and flair, he's a great player. He's also got pace in abundance.

"He just needs experience – he's a 19-year-old kid still learning, but the more games he plays, the more he will learn."
