Manager Morell Maison could hand a debut to striker Zema Abbey against Rovers as he looks to break a run of four successive draws.

The forward, who once moved from Cambridge to Norwich for £350,000, has become Maison's seventh signing since he took over at The Yeltz and he could be among the substitutes this evening.

The club are expecting their biggest crowd of the season to see them face their traditional rivals and their only injury doubt surrounds captain Nick Amos.

He limped off in the second half of the weekend draw at Swindon Supermarine with a groin injury and he faces a late fitness test tonight.

Abbey looks set to battle with Dean Brennan and new Portuguese signing Eldon Maquemba for the forward places with veteran Paul Devlin having been switched to a wide right role on Saturday.

Former Watford and Walsall left back David Perpetuini also stands by for his home debut.

Four players, Liam McDonald, Azariah O'Garro, Sean Platt and Chris Jay, have been realeased, with Platt already having re-signed for Willenhall.
