Top scorer back for Harriers

Leading scorer James Constable is back for Kidderminster as they head for tiny Ware tomorrow looking for an FA Cup adventure.

Constable has been missing for a month with a hamstring injury but he is available for the trip to Hertfordshire along with fellow striker Iyesden Christie, who has been struggling with a similar injury.

And manager Mark Yates is facing a selection headache with two more strikers, Justin Richards and Matthew Barnes-Homer, also in solid form.

Yates said: "James and Iyesden both got 60 minutes under their belts in a reserve game at Bromsgrove on Wednesday night and they both looked very sharp and completely fit.

"They will be in the squad for the weekend and we now have four very good forwards to choose from.

"It will be a tough decision but that's the way I like it."

Yates's side will travel to the Isthmian League first division north side as the overwhelming favourites to book a place in the draw for the second round.

But Yates has issued the traditional warning to his professionals not to underestimate the size of their task against the part-timers.

Yates said: "We are professional players from three divisions above them and if we play as well as we can we will give ourselves a great chance."

"But the history of the FA Cup is littered with teams who came a cropper because they didn't get their attitude right and we have to make sure we're not one of those teams tomorrow night.

"To do that we have to apply ourselves in exactly the same way we did at Burton Albion last week, and if we do that then we can start to play football."

Yates will again be without injured trio Scott Bevan, Jeff Kenna and Simon Russell but on-loan Shrewsbury keeper Chris McKenzie has been cleared to play.
