Stourbridge in tough test

Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett believes his team are facing a Southern Premier League side in disguise this weekend.

Stourbridge won at Buxton for the second time in a week to add an FA Trophy win to their FA Cup victory.

The Glassboys take on Rushall Olympic tomorrow, a side that have been boosted by an influx of players from boss Paul Holleran's old side Halesowen.

And that, reckons Hackett, makes it one of the biggest tests of the season.

"Halesowen have about 12 players who came from Halesowen so it almost like playing a Premier League side," he said.

"They're not a bad side by any means and they're on a half decent run – but so are we, so we'll have no fears at all about playing them."

Hackett welcomes back Ross Collins and Jamie Rogers from suspension, but will do without Paul Danks, who injured himself against Stourbridge last weekend.
