Stourbridge v Stourport preview

Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett has warned his team to beware of a wounded Stourport Swifts side as he prepares for the teams' second meeting in four days.

The Glassboys thrashed Swifts 6-1 at Walshes Meadow on Saturday and thanks to a quirk of fate by the fixture compilers the two teams meet again tonight.

And Hackett thinks that will probably count against his team as they welcome Swifts to the Memorial Ground tonight.

"It is completely crazy that we play them again so soon – and it could count against us," Hackett warned.

"From experience we know that the first thing you want to do after getting thrashed is get out there and take it out on your next opponents."

Striker Paul Danks is missing after hurting his knee, and Hackett admits it doesn't look good for his forward.

Swifts boss Paul Davies said: "Some of the lads were running on empty and we have to give the opposition credit."
