Harriers will land a £10,000 windfall if they overcome Vauxhall Motors to reach the first round at Aggborough (3pm.)

But Yates insists the finances are not his main motivation.

He said: "That's not something I'm going to concern myself with. We all know that there is money for the club if we do well but it's really a matter for the chairman and the board.

"When the players go out on the field they won't be thinking about the prize money, that's for sure."

Harriers have been handed a double FA Cup boost with the news that loanees Chris McKenzie and Dean Bennett can both play tomorrow.

Yates said: "It's good news for us that both of those lads are available to us. Bennett has done really well for us since he came on loan from Chester and it is great that we can play him in all competitions.

"With Chris it was a bit different because we were waiting to see how Scott Bevan was, but Scott isn't quite right so the obvious thing to do was to extend Chris's loan.

"Having done that we were really grateful to Shrewsbury for allowing him to play in the FA Cup."

Tomorrow's tie sees Harriers renew hostilities with Vauxhall after dispatching them from the FA Trophy last season on the way to their big day out at Wembley.

Yates's men were pushed all the way, prevailing in a replay in Lancashire after drawing 4-4 in the first match at home.

But the manager does not believe that previous meeting will have any bearing on tomorrow's match.

He said: "It was a good game with them last year but their side now is very much changed from last season.

"We have had them watched and they are a good side who try to play football in the right way so we will have to be on our guard."

The manager will again be without injured quartet Bevan, Jeff Kenna, Simon Russell and James Constable.

Admission to both seated and standing areas of the ground for this game is a reduced £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under-16s
