There is also a doubt over whether Cedric Avinel will be released for tomorrow's Blue Square Premier trip to Crawley. Loach, who was a penalty-save hero for Rangers last Saturday, is needed for the Hornets' first team squad at home to Hull, but Rangers manager Phil Robinson is hoping to have both Watford players back at Marston Road next week. "You can't legislate for injuries down at Watford and they have to look after their own interests," said Robinson today. "We have to take it on the chin and there is a possibility we can have Scott back after the weekend." Robinson's team plans have also been hit by the one match ban imposed on defender Fred Murray for reaching the five bookings threshold. Madjo left Rangers in the summer over pay.

His former manager warned: "We know what Guy can do - he can turn a game in an instant, we shall have to watch him and we'll be doing everything we can to stop him.

"But it is going to be difficult for us all round. It's been a week of injuries, trying to bring players in and missing out."

Seb Hamilton and Steve Hopkinson will not be available after picking up injuries in the Senior Cup clash at Tamworth, but midfielder Kevin Street may return to the squad.
