Chasetown are to re-sign FA Cup hero Lee Bullimore from Tipton.
The Scholars served a seven day approach this week and hope to complete the return of the striker from the Midland Alliance club in the next few days.
"I've not spoken to him yet, but he's been in touch with our captain Lee Parsons about coming back," said boss Charlie Blakemore.
Bullimore wrote himself into Chasetown folklore two years ago when he top-scored in the run that took the Scholars to the first round proper.
But he decided to quit football in the summer, before deciding to try his luck with Tipton. Blakemore, whose side host Rothwell tomorrow, is looking for his side to re-focus on the Southern League Midlands division again after FA Cup and Staffs Senior Cup action in the last six days.
"It seems it's been ages since we played in the league but I've reminded the players the league is our bread and butter which is what it's all about and we have to forget the hullabaloo of the FA Cup."
