More on Rangers injury list

Two more names were added to Stafford Rangers growing injury list after last night's unsavoury Staffs Senior Cup tie at Tamworth.

Both Seb Hamilton and Steve Hopkinson were forced out of the game by unpunished challenges as Rangers twice took the lead before losing 3-2 to an 80th minute winner.

Stafford manager Phil Robinson was fuming with Walsall referee Steve Bratt just before the interval for the tackle on Hamilton, which actually went unpunished.

Hamilton limped off and Tamworth's Chris Nurse, who put in the challenge, stayed on the field to eventually score the winner.

The tackle on recent signing Hamilton was one of a number that upset Rangers on a rainy night at the Lamb ground.

Robinson, who played the full 90 minutes, endured the last hour with his head bandaged after picking up a cut early in the game.

Just after the restart, Hopkinson ended up bundled into the Stafford dugout and was unable to continue with a facial injury.

Stafford's goals both came in the first half through Ross Draper and Tom Youngs, while Seb Arnolin hit the post.

Kevin Street played the full game after recovering from a bout of illness and comes into contention for Saturday's Blue Square Premier game at Crawley Town.
