Stourbridge claimed their first away win of the season in rain-sodden conditions at Creasey Park last night.
Having battled their way through the atrocious weather to reach Dunstable in the first place, the Glassboys went on to have the better of the first half proceedings to hold a two-goal lead at the break.
Stourbridge threatened early on with Mark Bellingham setting up Jamie Rogers who flashed a shot narrowly wide.
The home side then had penalty appeals rejected when they claimed that Ryan Mahon had impeded Chris Marsh.
Midway through the opening half, Sam Rock slipped a neat pass into the path of Bellingham who opened up his body to hit a close range left foot shot that Taylor blocked.
Stourbridge forged ahead after 29 minutes when good work by Bellingham on the right saw him wriggle by a defender before pulling the ball back to Leon Broadhurst who tucked the ball away inside the far upright.
The visitors almost doubled their lead five minutes later when a right-wing corner from Andy Wells enabled Nathan Bennett to power a downwards header towards goal.
When the ball dropped to the feet of Bellingham, he laid off a short pass to Craig Slater whose shot was cleared off the line.
However, in the 37th minute, Rock notched his third goal in as many games to make it 2-0.
Wells stood up a right-wing corner that was headed out to the edge of the area where Rock struck a low drive that took a deflection past Taylor.
Dunstable lifted their game in the second half with Danny Douglas proving a handful.
And it was Douglas who reduced the gap on 66 minutes after being put clear. He kept his composure to slot the ball past Solly to set up an exciting finale.
The Glassboys had to withstand some heavy pressure late on as the home side looked for the equaliser but they also could have scored from a quick counter free-kick from Jonathan Barnett that appeared to be heading for the top corner of the net.
