Wolverhampton-born striker Marc Richards ensured Chasetown couldn't repeat their FA Cup heroics as they crashed out of the Staffs Senior Cup to League One Port Vale.

The former Hednesford striker broke the deadlock on 50 after beating Vaughan Thomas to Danny Glover's corner.

Nine minutes later Richards headed home Simion Richman's pass to seal victory for Vale.
