Management duo Martin O'Connor and Graham Hyde could be pressed into emergency FA Cup action for Halesowen tomorrow after injuries left the Yeltz with just 12 fit players.

Former Birmingham and Walsall captain O'Connor, the 39-year-old Halesowen boss, and assistant manager Hyde, 37, an ex-FA Cup finalist with Sheffield Wednesday, are likely to be named as substitutes against Evesham in the third qualifying round.

And transfer-listed goalkeeper James Dormand is also poised for an unexpected recall after Chris Jay became one of the latest names to join O'Connor's lengthy injury list.

O'Connor said: "Myself and Hydey are likely to be in the squad because we just don't have enough players at the moment.

"As things stand we have 12 fit players so we probably won't need to start the game but we will need some substitutes and at the moment the two of us are the only options.

"We have known that this could happen since we came to Halesowen so we have tried to keep ourselves fit by training with the lads as often as possible.

"We're not as fit as we would like to be but I think we will be OK to play our part if we're needed."

Dormand, who is contracted to the Yeltz, was placed on the transfer list and replaced in the first team by Jay after a string of errors early in the season.

But he will be called upon again tomorrow after Jay joined Ian Cooper, Nick Amos, Duane Darby, Paul Devlin, Davion Hamilton and Liam McDonald in the treatment room.

Tomorrow's game, being played at Worcester City at 12.30pm, could be Nick Wright's last for Halesowen after Tamworth gave seven days' notice of their intention to speak to the former Blues trainee.
