Stourbridge ended their 292 minutes goal drought when they picked up a fully deserved win to climb away from the relegation zone.

The Glassboys pinned the visitors back inside their own half for much of the opening 30 minutes.

And although Bedworth rallied after the break Stourbridge were in no mood to let slip a vital three points and two goals from Mark Bellingham put the seal on the afternoon.

Sam Rock ended the 292 minute goal drought when he scored after 13 minutes.

A long throw-in from the right by Craig Slater was headed on by Bellingham and Rock was in the right place to turn the ball home from close range.

More Stourbridge pressure almost paid off after 23 minutes.

Oliver O'Connell crossed low from the left and Bellingham laid the ball back to Rock whose low shot was blocked by the legs of visiting custodian Andrew Kemp.

Stourbridge increased their lead when after 69 minutes they were awarded a penalty.

Sam Rock was pulled back by Danny Pitham inside the area andBellingham coolly dispatched the spot-kick.

Seven minutes later, Bellingham struck again. He intercepted a poor back-pass and after evading the keeper he rolled the ball home in off the far post.

In the final minute, an excellent save from Lewis Solly denied the visitors a consolation goal.
