Kidderminster manager Mark Yates has challenged his players to collect maximum points from their next two matches.

The Harriers boss wants extra consistency to add to the days of promise so far this season.

And he wants to kick off a winning run by chalking up two victories in four days that could lift them into the play-off places in the Blue Square Premier.

Yates said: "The two games we've got coming up, against Crawley and Halifax, are not easy games by any means.

"But I want the lads to go out and get six points from the two games.

"It will be tough against two good sides but we need to be winning our home games and we have shown already this season that we are good enough to win matches.

"We have played really well at times this season but we haven't really managed to string two performances together."

Yates will again be without first choice goalkeeper Scott Bevan, who medics now fear may have torn a quadricep muscle.

He is due for further tests but is likely to be out for several weeks.

Veteran defender Jeff Kenna is also booked in for a scan on a stomach muscle injury while midfielder Simon Russell and striker Iyseden Christie are both sidelined.
