Former Walsall striker Gary Birch scored as Rushall stretched their winning home run to six games.

Pics took a second minute lead when Richard Beale's forced by Lee Gough corner went in off the bar - the first the Gloucestershire side had conceded in four games.

Bishops Cleeve levelled when Kevin Slack shook off Lee Barrow after a mistake by Gough and drilled home.

Rushall regained the lead on 36 when Sean Dowdall rifled home Beale's cross.

But they needed a superb save from Breeden a minute before the break to keep their lead intact.

Ex-Saddlers man Birch, on loan from AFC Telford, took centre stage in the second half.

First he saw a floated shot palmed away before drilling home the third on 72 after Beale's centre had been partly cleared.

Birch twice went close to a brace, first seeing a chip cleared off the line then flashing wide from 20 yards.
