An early goal from man-of-the-match Paul Devlin set Halesowen on their way into the 3rd Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

The Yeltz made a perfect start when Nick Amos headed for Devlin to calmly slot past goalkeeper Andrew Kemp from five yards in the 2nd minute.

Lee Greenway had a couple of half chances for lower league battling Bedworth before Kemp beat away another 20-yard free-kick from McDonald on the stroke of half-time.

Halesowen seemed to have the tie wrapped up with their second goal in the 50th minute when Devlin did well to pull the ball back from the bye-line and Jay Denny crashed the ball past Kemp on the half-volley.

But Halesowen made the latter stages needlessly nervy by allowing Bedworth to pull a goal back in the 73rd minute.
